Our programs include home preservation education, buyer education, Detroit Land Bank compliance classes, and empowerment workshops—all designed to equip residents with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve and sustain homeownership. Detroit Land Bank Compliance Class
The city of Detroit has partnered with various non-profit organizations to team up with potential property owners as they renovate their home and track progress. This course will teach the potential property owner the compliance process, what to expect at closing day, tips, and provide additional resources.

Family Financial Empowerment Workshops
Financial Wellness/Fair Housing (Virtual 2nd Saturday of every month): We provide the tools to develop positive financial habits to reach your short and long term goals. This course will go over the following topics: Our relationship with money, Financial profiles, S.M.A.R.T. goals, Banking 101, Fair Housing, and much more.
Financial Empowerment 2.0 Workshops (2nd and 3rd Saturday of the month at the Central Detroit Christian location): This workshop includes: Debt payoff, Understanding and Building Credit, Wills & Trust, Savings Goals, Fraud Awareness, and much more! Central Detroit Christian Community Development Corporation is an intake center that offers clients assistance with completing the application process. The program is provided by The City of Detroit.
0% interest home repair loans between $5,000-$25,000 are available for Detroit homeowners who meet eligibility requirements. 0% interest means you pay back only what you borrow-not a penny more. This program empowers homeowners to invest in their home with a 10-year, 0% interest repair loan.
