In addition to the range of programs we offer, Central Detroit Christian CDC works hard to meet a variety of direct physical needs for the families in central Detroit. To meet these needs, we accept furniture donations and other items for distribution according to need. It is our desire to honor our neighbors by making available to them quality goods, as with our programs we strive to deliver the best. Donations in the past have enabled CDC to sponsor a Christmas store for the community, a back-to-school give-away, Thanksgiving love boxes, an Easter Outreach, and an adult computer class. To help families with uniform and school startup costs, we have also established a school scholarship fund. By linking with many different and caring individuals, we are able to provide many goods and services that would not otherwise be available to the central Detroit community.
