Youth
Middle School Breakthrough Enrichment

Breakthrough Creative Arts
As part of the Tuesday evening Breakthrough Enrichment Program, Central Detroit Christian offers middle school students a hot meal and training in a variety of youth development classes. These typically include dance, drama, art, fashion, sewing, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, recreation and conflict resolution. By offering these volunteer-taught classes, CDC gives students an opportunity to develop their natural talents and discover new interests. The classes also include a Bible lesson that enables students to grow in their understanding of God and the world He created as they learn about themselves in the class. Each semester, the students showcase their skills and abilities for classmates, families, friends, and community.

"I feel this program is a very wonderful program to join because you can learn a lot of great things like: dance, how to sing, and draw. This program can keep you out of a lot of trouble so you won't be in gangs or drug dealing. It is also a great program to join so that you can learn the right things in life about Jesus, who died on the cross for us. CDC will keep encouraging you in everything you do."
